Has anyone been out to MainPrize?Just wondering how they are biting out there.We spent the night,on LML,Saturday.Got a nice perch as soon as we were set up.Lost a nice eye,but that was it for the rest of the trip.Seemed the same with everyone around us.We always seem to do good at MainPrize in the summer,but never tried through the ice.Thought we would give it a try next weekend.Thanks for any tips.

MainPrize Park,is on the Rafferty Dam between Estevan and Weyburn.

Nope...havent been there. What species is in those waters?

Walleye and pike are plentyfull,but the perch are a tough catch.Walleye limit is only three apiece there,but the other limits are the same.There is usually three of us that go out in the boat,and we are pretty hard pressed,if we don't take home our limit of eyes and let alot go.Last July,the wife got her biggest fish yet,a 41 inch,17 1/2 pound pike.
  At the other end of Rafferty Dam,is Boundry Dam,where we go for largemouth bass.3 to 5 pound range is not uncommon.You can fish open water there all year.
