I was wondering if anyone can provide me with any info on where to legally put a quad on the ice? I've heard many different and conflicting opinions!

Thanks! Planning on trying it again! I fish the pack a lot open water and always do good! I've only fished it through the ice a few times and not so good! Never got the skunk though

Gotcha! I would like to cover a little more water! I've always walked to close spots but really want to hit a few out of reach areas! I know a couple nice spots but with all this snow it's gonna be tough trekking!

the gate at Ironwood makes it just about impossible to get on with a quad from there...still have no clue why they feel the need to keep the gate to the boat launch locked in the winter when they are open at the other PPL launches ???

You can use state ramp as long as you unload the quad just like a boat. Do not run your quad in the parking lot, because if you get caught they will fine you.

Wanted to get out but work called again! At least you got out! That snow/slush seems to be horrible everywhere! maybe after this next cold snap it will harden up the slush
