Have you had a better overall year for fish catching this yr ,or last yr?  I have been about the same having a pretty good year, although
The last week has been slower!!

better catch rates this year for sure, last year sucked for me, less snow and less frigid cold is the reason I would guess

Not doing as well this year. Weed beds on my 'home' lake are in terrible condition, water cloudy, fish scattered and biting light if at all.

Better start to this year as far as numbers.. But the consistency is terrible. 5 one nite then 20 the next. I hope we are ice fishing mid march like last year. March 22nd was ice off for me

Amount of fish is about the same per time out. Sure is a lot easier getting around. Less snow, less ice thickness, lakes are much easier to access and get around. Temps are a lot better, too.

Last year better by far.  This year has been slllooooow. 
I haven't had a flag yet this season!!   Absolutely crazy. Haven't had any keeper eater fish. Guess I gotta start going other places.

Hard to assess. Fishing is about the same but hard to make a comparison to the on again off again nature of the ice conditions the past few winters. Still not venturing to the spots I know I really need to be on this time of year but can safely catch a meal if need be.

this year is off to a good start for me, 4 good outings out of 5. Too much snow and ice last year. Parking lots are accessible and ice is just right. Who knows what the conditions will be like from here on out, some snow and low temps on the way Things could be a hell of alot worse.
