Factory Refurbished Vex

I'm looking at getting a vexilar, specifically the Fl-18 Genz Pack. I emailed the people at vexilar and am looking at their factory refurbished units. Just wondering if anyone has experience with these refurbs. I think they would still be fine and they still come with the 2 year warranty. Also is there anywhere else that might sell the refurbished units other than vexilar directly. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

As far as I know Vex is it. If the price is right you can't go wrong. You get a warranty and they've been checked over.

the way I see it, factory refurbished products are possibly better than new,

For example, any company is gonna have a few deffective units, even vexilar.
The chances of getting a bad unit might be better with a new machine,
than with a "fixed" machine... (The problem has allready been solved)


I have heard before that electronic companies put their refurbished products
through much more testing than their new products. I would not be worried

Yes i wouldn't be scared of a refurbished unit from a great company like Vexilar at all .
