Not catching to many fish but love the new gear this year:
The ion auger is incredible used 5 time without recharge, about 55 or 60 holes and the battery still says full charge. The new reverse is great to flush the hole..don't even need to scoop out the slush!!!
The c-fish fishfinder works great also...could see all the structure and bottom and love the 360* rotating option or you can rotate it manually with the remote in 10* increments.
A little dissapointed with the Jaw Jacker...I'm not sure I have it down yet but I have the trigger set as light as possible(snapped in my face the 1st time) and 3X the shiner was gone without a trip. Maybe it's not made for 40' of water?
Returned the 5 sided 360* shanty from Cabellas....it leaked on all 5 top seams and got a 4 sided thermal. I used that for the first time today...easy up and down and packs away nice BUT:this shanty is made by Clam. Do they not consult ice fisherman when they build things??? This is the same as the Clam 2000 big foot. Where the windows are I would need a bar stool in order to see out!!!!!Who want's to keep getting up to check the tilts or stand up all day.
