I have heard people on threads bring up some ponds north of the SDSU campus that have fish in them? are they the ones directly across Hwy 14?

You would be correct. You can't drive out to them since they are fenced off. I'm not sure how deep they are currently. If you talk to some of the folks in the wildlife & fisheries department they may be able to tell you more.

I think they are off limits to fishing nowdays. You used to be able to caught hammer handle northerns till you were sick of catching fish.
