Pike on mallets bay Lake Champlain
« on: Jan 07, 2015, 12:34 PM »
Hey guys,
Can anyone give me any info about pike fishing in mallets bay lake Champlain?
IE access, parking, areas where you've had action.?  We usually go up to north hero
But we're trying to stay closer to home. Staying in colchester. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

When it gets safe Calm Cove can have decent pike. I've found that fishing near the weed lines near shallows to be best. Good luck!

the broad part of mallets bay just locked up yesterday,, but the fishing access should be set. There is still open water in the middle though of the broad part of the bay

There was over 6" on Sunday. Plenty of ice for a ways out too.
