Hoar Story

Mountaineyema and I head out to the shanty at Sandy this morning......what spectacular scenery with the hoar frost.....had to stop a few times along the way just to share a once in a lifetime day that not only coats, but makes simple twigs explode in beauty!!!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         beneath the seemingly needle-like appearance....a simple twig                                                                                                                                        Mountaineyema hooks the first fish of the NEW YEAR......its a football eye....the pic is deceiving....measured out at 19 1/4 inches.....her Iceshanty hoodie which she seldom wears (too warm)....brings her the luck of the Irish today.....                                                                                                                               and not to be be outdone on the first of the year....what could be in that icehole of hers?????....guesses???                                                                                                                                                                                           here it comes.....                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             I hang on to it....too big to eat....gotta grow some more                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        the starting lineup for eyes and northerns                                                                                                                                                                   just have to take another pic of the frost...but not before using the ABS brakes......friggin Hydro guys working on New Years Day rolling powerlines....one in the eastbound lane....and another in the westbound......and BIGTIME FOG to boot......boy it was close.....                                                                               Mountaineyema gets me 5 to 3 for the day........Grump ;D

Very nice pictures as usual Grump.  So, you scooped those minnows out of the hole if I understand correctly?

I suppose it might just be a matter of impatience, but I'm seeing fish photos posted on the MB board, but not in the tourney entries yet...hmmm.  I guess I'll have to check in later...everyone get a fish and enter it to have a chance at the random draws.

The Walleye is nice. The snot rocket is well...great for you Grump. THE PICS OF THE FROST ARE JUST SECTACULAR !!!!  ;D ;D ;D Maybe you should take up photography instead of fishing Gump...Mama could always fill the freezer with fish !!!!  :D :D

Ah...I didn't see the photos of the pike the first time I looked...not sure what was up with that...oh well.

Beautiful photos as usual.....enjoying them all........but you gotta realize, you're giving 2sfmh more material to Photoshop  :roflmao:
