Checked Higgins yesterday, Thursday the 29th still nothing. Wide open.
Maybe Next Year Eh!!!

  Sorry to hear about the lack of ice on Houghton Mike.  I was fishing on 4 1/2"
last week in SE Mi when the heatwave and rain started.  The ice honeycombed
and turned to crap quick.  Yesterday there were 20 plus morons fishing on 3" of
bad ice.  Gotta love it.  Stay safe.

Mike,thanks for the report on Higgins,I've got a friend from down state that wants to come up when the ice gets on over there for some lake trout.
