Was thinking about getting a proview transducer for my FL-18. Anyone have any experience with these?

So far i like the pro view the best and I have had a 12degree and tri-beam. The proview expands as you turn the gain up, also does a much better job picking up small jigs.

Go for it I just got off the ice with a new 18 new proview and fully charged battery in 5ft. of water using 2 suppression cables and low power mode. My 3mm tungsten was green as was the little rat finkie. I shot right through the ice before leaving wow this will save a lot of time and work.
so, did you have to wet the spot that you shot through (Assuming you had no snow) or just sit the transducer on the ice?

are you speaking of said with a 28? Was wondering bcuz old goat has 18. Are people having trouble in say 8 to 10 f.o.w. with the 28? This is my first vex and after reading reviews I went ahead and got the 28.

Got the pro-view last December, and used it from 5 to 60 feet of water! Seemed to work great!
