first trip of the season, landing very nice Arctic Char

Had a good time out on Sunday at long lake with the wife and kids, caught a real nice arctic char to boot.  Ice was beautiful, it was fun to watch him come up from the deep.

Nice fish.
I caught one about that size several years ago out of Stormy lake in Nikiski.
They sure are a pretty fish with their bright orange fins and all.
