hood rack

I really want to weld up some kind of hood rack for my venture.  Was trying to find build pics or some info on other company's but dont really come up with much just a couple crappie pics ofqans quest race sleds.  I've seen a couple vk with um.  Guess imlooking for mounting ideas.

You could build something along the lines of this :

Just make one the right size for your sled instead of a utv. I was thinking about making one for my alpine. To mount it I'm planning on making a post that goes up vertical from the bumper on each side towards the back of the hood. At these two posts there would be a place for the rack to pin in to. For the front make one post in the center or an "A" frame coming up to the front of the rack with a hinge. This way if you need to get under the hood to make repairs or get into your muff pot you can un-pin the back and swing it forward out of the way.
