Guys were out fishing yesterday in NW Iowa but it snowed about 4-5". -4* right now so hopefully it gets thicker.

Manawa & other small ponds are locked up here in SW Ia.  Probably not ready to fish yet but maybe by this weekend the ponds will be

Went to big lake today to see what the ice thickness off the dock was, just shy of 3 inches. Manawa is capped completely but I didnt venture out to check it, rather not do the polar plunge early haha

Bigwally I haven't been out on clear yet.  Going to test the ice in the next few days.  People have been fishing it already though.

Went to manawa yesterday, ice is very thin off of boyscout about 2", and there were people who were fishing out there on it!
