Has anyone else been smelting at james eddy? i went there christmas night and between 3 of us we caught about 100 or so. im heading back out there tonight at 11:15, ill report back in the a.m.

freeze some of the big ones... but freeze them whole they work awesome for the big touge on slowbego pull em out 2 days before to get em stinky... my firend lives next to slowbego he smelts were your talking about and freezes like 100 of them just for ice fishing.....

yeah i freeze alot of them anyway and use them for cusk fishing.
