Thought I would introduce myself. I have been ice fishing for 3 years now and I have been addicted from day one. Glad I found this site also glad to be apart of this site and see a few guys from Utah on here. Hope to hit the hard water soon I'm counting the days down as probably most of you guys. Enough said here and hope to meet up with you guys in the future.

Welcome to the shanty randal801, always nice to see new utah members. This site will keep you busy for days with all the fish specific boards, modification boards for about everything ice fishing and some, Technical problems on everything from tents to electronics can usually be figured out by someone here, and just the good ole' advice before making that big/small purchase definately has helped me on more than one occasion. Don't know your location but your always welcome to join us on trips this coming year. I try to post up when I'm heading out but some trips are planned on the fly. Again welcome to the shanty and feel free to hit me up anytime

Thanks for the welcome. I am not use to this setup yet. Different then other forums I am with. Just updated my location but still trying to figure out how to upload an avatar.

An easy way is to click on your username, or on Profile in the grey bar, which will take you to your profile. Top left is Modify Profile-- click on it and click on Forum Profile. You can choose an avatar from the gallery, or upload your own!! EZPZ!!!! Welcome to the addiction!!

Thanks eveyone I must not be doing something right. Followed the directions for about an hour trying to figure it out. Might be the work computer oh well, thanks for the help anyways. I'll try it again tomorrow or something not to big of a deal.

If your using a photo from photobucket, it must be in you main album. Not a sub album. It also needs to be resized to 120x120 max

Thanks everyone. Out of all my other forums I am on this by far is the most welcoming forum. Thanks again for the welcomes. JiggerDan Yes I am very addicted. I can not wait to hit the hard deck I've been getting things ready for the last past months, as I bet all of you have been too.

Oh yea! Already been plotting the next $600 I'm going to spend this year. The next 3 months feel like an eternity waiting for hard deck, who knows with the weird weather patterns this year maybe well be hard decking it by early December. Wishful thinking!

Yes me too, I have narrowed it down to a under water camera, new bigger jet sled, muck boots and odds and ends. I know my list will get longer as the days get shorter. It would be nice to hit it early, also Love your avatar The wife and I were talking about ice fishing yesterday and I commented I might half to got to a skating rink to get my fix on.

Hahaha! You just gave me a great idea, I'll have to go hit up the buddies up at the Ice Sheet and take some funny photos or at least a good youtube video.
