Ten pound Pike caught and released On Emerald lake , Pics.. video coming soon.

Just wanted to share some pictures from yesterday that my Friend Matt caught a ten pound plus pike and released her back into the water to swim another day. The video of day will be posted soon and you will see the pike being caught and released along with a smallmouth bass and some perch action.

Who knew - I've driven by there many times never thinking serpents like that lurk within.

We hit Bomo, "Green Dump", yesterday morning to find no shortage of ice ~ 24 +/- and plenty of vehicles cruising the hard water.

The bite was limited to a slammer perch and a couple smelt before we headed off ~ 2:00.

Snow crust on the ice in the AM followed by a slurry of slop by PM.

Dropped the "spikes" on the way out hopefully someone found them a caught something?

Nice Pike. I have fished there a few times in years past. I knew they were in there but never got 1 over 5lbs there.

Emerald is so slow!!!!!!!!!!!  I fished there about 10 times this year.  Only caught more than 1 fish 1 time.  Got 2 that day.
