Frabill Commando Max to Commando?
« on: Mar 02, 2014, 11:13 AM »
Quick questions here. Is it my understanding that the only difference between the Max and the original is the top cover? If so can you buy the framework to remove top and make it a standard model? I think this would just be the frames and hardware cause of already having seat and swivel. I can't find a parts section on Frabill that gets down to the nuts and bolts parts. This is a nice unit but i would be pulling by hand at least for the next year or two, as i have plans for a new boat this year and it would not go over too well with momma.

I am gonna do the same thing with mine. I am planning on calling frabill tomorrow and finding out.

I was on a bus and just happened to be sitting on a news paper. This guy came up and asked. "Are you reading that ?"
I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.

Ok just got off the phone with frabill. The part # for the seat frame kit is 611560. Cost is $56.60 plust shipping. This kit is the brackets, mounting plate, and hardware. Everything we need to make the conversion.
