Chittenden Dam
« on: Mar 04, 2014, 08:28 AM »
Anyone know what the snow cover is like up there, if there is any?
I haven't been up there since the rain/warm up.

Dave B, where you at?

Right here.I'm going Friday i think.I was going to Benson Landing but i was informed last night that the water at Singin Cedars is like chocolate milk.I haven't heard about the conditions up there but i would guess at patches of snow if any.If i hear i will let you know.

Should be able to use 4 whlr , and ice cleats for sure. Have not been in awhile but will before season ends , the bigger perch should start to bite!

Thanks, look forward to your report Dave.
Saturday is looking like a good day to be out on the ice, no matter where you are fishing.

          Pikeaddict,
Unfortunately my buddy had to go to Burlington today but he is going tomorrow to the Dam.I am trying Benson Landing for some eyes.I will fill you in tomorrow night.Went out today and the water was good.I really believe the dam can't have more then 3 inches of snow.

Thanks Dave. I'm actually getting out of work early tomorrow and fishing there, so I will find out for myself. Even if there was a fair amount of snow I would think the snowmobiles would have it pretty well beat. Good luck on champ!
