conditions on half moon lake by Mosinee

I'm new to central Wisconsin, moved from Manitoba, and was planning to go ice fishing on half moon lake by Mosinee. Does anyone know how thick the ice is, are there any spots to stay away from, what's a good set up for jigging for crappies.

Made it out onto half moon over the weekend. There was over 2' of ice and plenty of snow which made it difficult to drive out. Really slow bite, caught two small crappies in the late afternoon.
