Ion auger blades same as Eskimo hand auger?

Just curious if anyone has tried the Eskimo hand auger blades on the ION auger?
I was looking at them at the store the other day and they look identical. The guy at the store told me they were the same and the Eskimo blades will fit the ION. The ION blades are twice the price of the Eskimo hand auger blades so it would be with it if they worked.

If anyone has a set of 8 inch Eskimo hand auger blades can you see the number stamped on them?

The only # I see for my 8" Eskimo blades is RB8.

No I sold the auger .... Might just steal the blades too.

I spent $70,000 on a truck also but when I can save $20 for the same product I do!!
For the record I got the auger on sale for $400
