One of my local go-to ponds.
Not a secret spot, just a fun place to catch a few panfish with some newbies.
Guy somehow, in a drunken stupor, forgot how to turn his truck onto a main road, and ended up hitting a telephone pole, crashing through a wooden guard rail and plowing through trees into the pond.
I figure this mental giant was speeding while he was drunk driving.
What an ass!
Thankfully (for him) strangers pulled his sorry ass out of the sinking truck, and thankfully (for the anglers) the authorities recovered the vehicle right after. I can only hope this idiot isn't part of the "entitlement" crowd (you know the kind with low friends in high places) and gets off with a proverbial slap on the wrist. I don't know what the fines are like here in MA for sinking a vehicle in a town water supply?
