Been fishing the same spot for 3 weeks have the house out and nobody has been around us. Yesterday we went out put out the cusk lines got the house ready for this weekend.  This morning we caught a nice 6.5 lbs cusk and got a lot of flags.  By noon 2 Bob houses that were in shore more moved to within 25 feet of our cusk lines and 20 feet to my tip up. I understand that we don't own the lake but come on who move a house on derby weekend and who moves in on other people that close.  It just so frustrating that people do this. Worst part is we watched them watch is all day.

It pizzed me off I wouldn't even be that mad if they would have fished in that area first but they just uped and moved. I'll really be mad if tomorrow they get there first and find a tipup in the hole we were using. Or if they put cusk lines near ours I'll lose it.

I have empathy for you and all the rest that suffer with this. We are subjected to the designs of Simians. "All of the fish are in your bucket so, that is where I will fish." You drive away the monkeys by throwing your fish onto the ice away from your shack or hole and enjoy the battle between them and the gulls. They are equals.

I'm with you. How small is the lake I must wonder that only my spot has fish? Yeah. I don't mind if you fish next to me, but I don't want to get married. Tailgate me and you get.............
