No, I live in porter county, so it don't get a chance to check... I have a buddy that is an insurance agent in Warsaw and a hardwater nut too... He keeps me posted... big chapman usually takes a while to get safe it seems, but I should have a report for you by...I usually don't hit Chapman until late Jan, early Feb... That's when those toothy gators start to bite it seems...My buddies dad knows the hot spots for crappie and perch tho... Ol green moe used to keep me posted on that lake too.  Did alright there last year catching some small to Med perch and a few nice Gators... had some adventures there.

Carp , Thanks anyway.  I was out there Tuesday. The channel right next to the public ramp had about 3" on it. I already know what "ole moe" knows and trust me it's not that much !  ;)

The only bell's that babbler has ever rang is tinker bell. ;D Yeah I've fished with him more than most sane men would, but it is mostly out of pity. The poor guy is a boilermaker fan and I figure if I can get him away from watching a few of those games he may not commit suicide at an early age.  GOO IRISH

Unfortunately "ole moe" normally kicks my a$$ when it comes to putting fish on the ice , so I gotta get my jabs in someplace else. I don't know if I ever rang his bell , but I've been temped to ring his neck a couple times ;D All in fun of course!!

Carp, by the way if you are wanting info on Chapman, the best guy I can think of to get it is probably from scroungydog. He only lives minutes from there and checks it quite frequently. He may be a stray dog, but he won't lead you astray when it comes to safe ice info.

Carp, The penguins have gotten the best of me so far this year. I came down with the peguin flu just as ice was getting good and believe it or not I haven't had a chance to get out yet. I'm feeling better now though so I will start battling them on the front lines now out on the ice. Normally I am one of the first ones out but that bug beat me up pretty bad. Oh how the penguins will pay now. Good fishin and tight lines, Moe.

Well, well well... I finally met the elusive Da-Roc.... You were right Kid, he does exist and he is very mobile...  Almost as inovative as you kid.    Hooked up with him out at long lake in Valpo, and have to say he is a heck of a nice guy.....didn't catch a dang thing, but it was nice to finally, (after 2 years) to put the name to a face.
