Magic has been hit or miss for us. We've fished it a couple times now in the past 2 weeks.
We've fished at the dam with very little success; 2 bites for 10 rods in about 6 hours.
West Magic has been ok, probably about 15 hrs. of fishing in at this point, fish are suspended but without electronics, I haven't been able to key in on them. Some days I find them and it's a fish every 1/2 to 1 hour, other days, I can't find them and go all day without a bite.
Lava point has been hit or miss, only fished 2 days on the northeast side of the ramp, one day I came home with 4 real nice trout, released 3 others, the very next day doing the exact same thing, not a bite all day...
All trout that I've kept have been 16-18 inches and incredibly healthy as is usual at Magic. Stomach's have been completely full of red worms and fresh water shrimp.
Has anyone found any perch at Magic in the past little while? I have always struggled trying to find perch on the ice at Magic.
