Not sure when it was sold, but I fished there last year in February, and parked right there in that small lot, along with about 20 other trucks.

Talked to a local on Snow lake.  He said he saw some ice anglers out in front of Docksiders last weekend.  It's hard to say what the ice will be like after that wet snow.

Not sure about the parking.

The ice is ok just be carefull. Parking is on a first come first serve bassis. they have all there dumpsters and trucks sitting in the parking lot. I would be verycareful to not pick up any nails. i havent seen them working there for a week or so. the last time they worked they were ripping up the asphalt.

well i'm off to fish silver lake. good luck everyone.

Good luck on Silver Kevin.  Spoke to MD520 who mentioned that the main part of Lake James was still open this afternoon.  They saw one Ice shanty back in the coves on Snow.  Docksiders is closed in from the main lake, so it's probably good to go.

Hey jigit.  I went to Jimmerson yesterday and tried my luck.  We then went to James to check out docksiders but for the first time I can remember there was no one fishing there.  The lice looked kind of iffy from the vehicle.  My buddies and I were lazy so we didnt get out and drill so I couldnt tell you how much ice was there.  It looked like it had some pretty dark spots under the snow.  Since no one was fishing, we headed to a different lake.  I dont knwo how much it helps you but thought I would share.  Tight Lines and Screamin Drags to Ya!!!
