Hey all haven't been able to do much pike fishing this year. I want to get out to one of these spots soon. I know these spots produce some pike but haven't heard how the bite has been so far. Is it slow or good. I'm taking a friend out who hasn't been out before and wants to catch some toothy critters. Any Info will help not looking for anyone's spots just some feedback on if it's slow in these places and should try somewhere else. I know it's going to be a packed weekend and and no one is going to want to talk.

Thanks

Been slow for us this year until last Sat. Finally had a decent day with 14 iced and 7 keepers. We fished off the rt78 access before you go over the bridge into Alburg. Seems most people out there that day were chasing some flags. Gonna be packed most places this weekend with the derby going on,so you better get out early if you want a good spot. Good luck
