carb Rebuild on old Magnum 3 model 110
« on: Feb 06, 2014, 02:08 PM »
Hey everyone I just ordered a rebuild kit for my carb on my old Magnum 3 model 110 33cc auger.  I was tired of being out on the ice and leaking fuel all over myself and having to empty the fuel tank after each use.  So the parts are on the way and as you can tell I'm a little excited, probably more than should be but I can't wait to get it out on the ice again.  Anyone else use one of these old magnum model 110's? I picked mine up 2 years ago for about 20 bucks its not the biggest or most powerful one but when its running right it goes slow and steady.  Does anyone know if you can put a larger auger on it cause the one thats on it now is only an 7.5in.

It depends on the collar size, but you may be able to find an 8.25". As small as that engine is I would stick to your 7.5" and drill happy. Bigger will put a strain on the engine and clutch assembly. Just my opinion.Good luck.  ;D
