Sno runner
« on: Jan 26, 2014, 09:06 AM »
I was wondering if anybody here ever used an old school Sno runner made by Chrysler for their ice fishing? It's like a little motor bike and snowmobile. Just don't know how strong they are... Any thoughts?

Not how strong they are, not strong probably as it was a low displacement motor. The real problem with using one is ------ TRY AND FIND ONE! Good Luck and if you do have one it sure beats walking. Post your pics of it. :)

Ahhh, the old school version of a timbersled...
I suppose it's ok if your lakes don't get windblown down to bare ice.

Wow! Learn something new every day. You never know where this site will lead.

Looking for information on what a SnoRunner was led to Snow Bike conversions.  Never came across these before,

Then the Timbersled website is full of information. Interesting stuff. Thanks.
