Brushy creek or Clear lake?

Finally have time to get serious about catching some fish and trying to plan a weekend trip. I read alot of good,  and bad, about both these lakes but ive never fished either. Kinda hoping some of u brushy or clear lake vets could give me a lil encouragement. Not looking for a bucket full of jumbo perch or a limit of 10lb walleyes, just a few fish to cure the boredom and to see some new scenery and make some new friends. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. U can pm me if u dont wanna post anything. Thank u much in advance people

i went to the north ramp 6:30 this am. din't see anyone out. may have been people midway or to the south didn't go there. that tells me slow bite. move lots. and you can get lucky on either lake.

Prob neither, would be my choice, of where to go.

Brushy mid lake. About 30-35 fow. Bite is early and late. Stay home from 8:30am-3pm.
