Blackstrap This Week

This is my first time, wow have not said that in a long time!
I plant to head out to the Strap on Sat, north end, some nice walleys up there and maybe some gators will be crusing in the transitional areas.  Anyone have some good lure suggestions, usually use jigs with minnows or small spoons!

Good luck to all this weekend, look forward to lots of postings in the future!

Hi Beachcomber,  For the Pike out there use the biggest Smelt or Herring you can find, I had more hits on 8" Herring last year than anything else.

Good luck this weekend, we're planing on taking the shack out there this weekend ;D

Good to hear, will give the smelts and herring a go on a deadline!  Should be decent tommorrow, cold but little wind = lots of holes and hopefully fish!

Also, nothing like some Johnny Cash lyrics and a bottle to boot!
