i think it would where i fish. if you fish a turkey shoot lake, maybe not. fish in frenzy's hit any thing
try size 2 in blue if you need color

so slow bite days, go tiny every thing

 Excluding top water lures,  if my reel isn't spooled with flourocarbon it has a flouro leader attached to what ever line I am using for that reason.

Last year I spooled up some Cajun Ice line on most of my reels. It is red. I caught nothing until I took it off and threw it away.

thats stuff is nasty unless you like slinky's

my nephew did the same thing (red cajun) on his casting reel

If in doubt just add a couple feet of clear line on the business end. One can still see the line, fish can't
