Ling in Fort Peck

Anyone been doing any ling fishing in Ft. Peck? Pointers on what they are biting on or where to go? Also what is proper way to mark tip ups? Can I just write my name and als number on the flag?

Pretty sure you only need your initials on the flag. The Herb Tuckers' of the world don't need to do much.

If you're not in immediate attention of your tip up it will be considered a set line. That being the case you'll need your name and your ALS number good luck on the ling I've only seen one caught up there
