Friday Night Mashapuag?
« on: Jan 09, 2014, 07:20 AM »
Anyone interested in Walleye fishing Friday night at Mashapaug? It's not the sort of place I'd want to fish alone at night early in the season.

I was hoping to get to Mashapaug before it got dark, but maybe I'll get there closer to 9 and make it an all night thing.

If I did not have to work I would join you,  Fishing for waldo I would suggest you get set up before dark, if not you may miss a prime time for them, they may turn on with the bad weather coming sat.If you have clear skies you will have a lot of moon light ,the moon is about 3/4 full, should give you a good night bite

I was out on Mash last night, suprisingly the only one there, I guess no one else wanted to fish in 7 degree temps!  Had 7" of good ice but no fish or flags all night.

I don't like the bright moons for walleye fishing especially with very little snow cover.  Hope for some cloud cover tonight.

Not looking likely, didn't make it to the baitshop before it closed so all I have are nightcrawlers... And my mother is sick. Hoping to get out tomorrow before it gets rainy.
