Walleye - Canyon Ferry
« on: Dec 27, 2016, 11:57 AM »
Brand new to the forum, MT born and raised. Mostly just fish for trout and trying to expand into Walleye. Any beginner tips for Walleye on Canyon Ferry would be much appreciated.

Get two more posts and you will be able to see another set of topics under Montana that are specific to individual water bodies.

Sounds like the other forum is the ticket? The three post rule to keep out the bots?

I heard a guy say he fished the Missouri R. near Wolf Creek in winter for Walleyes. Either he's fishing open water or he's up above on the reservoir. Latter more than likely...

Along with everybody else.  Canyon ferry is tough during the winter for walleye. Nobody is just gunna tell you where 2 go for walleye. GOTTA PUT IN THE WORK, THEN YOU CAN REAP THE REWARDS. Good luck tight lines.
