Spencer dam/Fort Randall

Trying to plan a trip for this weekend anywhere in north central Nebraska/south central SD.  After all this wind, any ice reports would be greatly appreciated.  Have a couple guys driving from SWNE and don't want them to get up here and not have any decent ice.  Thanks!

Ice is good everywhere in Knox, Cedar and Dixon Counties. Average 18 inches on farm ponds and public water. Fished private water in Knox County yesterday, ice was 18 inches. Lewis and Clark Lake average ice is 20 inches, but be careful out there. I have experienced thin ice on Lewis and Clark even when the average was 22 inches; due to the current and the Corp adjusting the water levels. Good Luck, Be Safe.

Was at Platte Creek sun-mon. Ice went to crap Monday, you won't make it on the ice after the wind.
