Hey livesnorth.  Duncairn is where I fished a bit when I was a kid as well.  I have fished there a few times each winter and it seems that we don't catch much, get frustrated, and then head to Lac Pelltier.  Have had decent luck at Pelltier catching small perch and pike.  Fun for the kids.

I have tried Duncairn near the dam.  Usually had some good luck with small walleye in the summer there but no luck in the winter.  Last winter we were for a morning and saw a pike on the camera but that was it.  Not even any perch.  Then we moved closer to "Cozy Cove" and had no luck so we went to Pelltier.

The locals usually set up some shacks in that finger south towards Simmie (can't remember the name of that area).  We tried there once but still had no luck.

Let me know if you are successful.

I actually fish duncarin on a regular basis. I have a lot of family in Gull Lake which is right near there. I've had some really good fishing there over the years.  The best access and fishing, in my opinion, is in the southwest portion of the lake. Theres a tiny little series of docks here that you can access by taking side roads off the highway from Gull Lake going towards Shaunavon. The final leg goes down between a couple fields. It'd be almost impossible to find if you don't know the area. But theres some really nice points there with good drop offs. I've usually had really good success around there summer and winter, although I'll mention it was a slow summer there this year.
