Night ice fishing has been becoming more popular over the past several years... But only by a minority of fisherman...  One problem here is that the ice can be spotty and in the dark this could be a question of safety.
Always be yourself because the people that matter don't care and the people that do don't matter.

I've been picking up some tip up lights as I can, I like to stay well past dusk. Set up during the day first so I know where it's safe. Those million candle spot lights are useful, but you have to check them often, I lost a tilt one year on Wordens.....the one that got away?  ???

Myself and my buddies did it up at Winni a couple years ago...the ice was rumbling so much and moving us up and down like a merry go round! Real fun though!

Speaking of fishing at night, I once read an article about pike fishing in wordens an night durring the spring and summer. Anyone try it through the ice?
