max lake

hey, im wanting to try for some walleye and perch at max lake, just wondering if any one has been there this year and how they did, thanks

We were out on Max Lake between Christmas and New Years.  Had never been there before so just went straight out from the launch 1/2 way to the island, between 4 of us we probably got about 60 perch in 4 hours.  Didn't see any Walleye just the perch and the couple we kept for a meal had some parasite in them.

Thanks for the news, and if you want walleye head south east from the launch, and fish off the point east of the island your talking about, go out about 50 yards from shore, we fished there this summer and hammered the walleye, also if u go on the west side of the island about 30-40 yards we caught good there to
