I'm having a REAL slow day at work.  So, how many times an hour can I refresh this page to check for messages before I'm diagnosed with clinical obsessive compulsive disorder?  And to you guys that have been here for years, will this condition ever abate, or am I doomed to sitting here all winter and clicking on "Show unread posts..."

As far as i know , there is no cure yet , the only thing that seems to relieve the symptoms is to actually get out on the ice. I have the same problem here , when i'm not doing some work , or to take a break from insanity and regroup my thoughts, i come here for relief. But dont tell my boss  SHHHHHHHHH

Auger I hate to say it but I think you're just out of luck my friend!!!  The addiction and obsession only gets worse with time, as does the sport of icefishing!!!  If you're ever at work and you go into a compulsive seizure, immediately tell your co-workers to get you in front of a desk that has a computer logged into IS!!!!

I'm new here - just joined toward the tail end of last season....but I've already got the rash on my rear end and the ooze coming outta my nose.....just like they warned me!  Here's hoping the medicine kicks in!

I'll put it this way. The other day when my alarm went off, I REALLY didn't feel like getting up. I thought about all the crap I had to do at work etc and just wanted to go back to sleep. Then a thought struck me.. "I wonder how many replies there are to the last post I made on IS yesterday before I left work?" It literally gave me the strength I needed and a good reason to get out of bed. Isn't that sick!! This damn site is starting to be my motivation for getting out of bed on work days. Don't tell my girlfriend...I've already been accused of loving this site more than her

Did you know that if you are logged in you can also click "show unread posts since last visit"? You get to see EVERYTHING that is going on here.
