Island Lake Splake.
« on: Dec 14, 2013, 08:30 PM »
Caught a bunch of fish on Grand Mesa from 11 this morn to 4. Mostly slimers but around two dozen Splake from a foot to 15".  Those 12 Splake for 3 of us were the only ones kept. A foot of ice on 24" of crusted snow if you stayed on the trail that bisects the lake from the sledders   Real fun day with constant action on Genz worms and Ratsos in glow white n greens

Sounds like a great day up there.  And you could sleep in and have two cups of coffee and still hit the hot bite in the afternoon.  That's living the good life.
