Wadsworth Pond has ice
« on: Dec 15, 2013, 08:12 PM »
I went out and tried Wadsworth for a couple hours yesterday. There was 8 - 9 '' of ice with some water on top. I caught one 12'' rainbow and had about 4 bites. Does anyone know if there are any perch in there anymore.

Yes, there are perch.  I try to find the deepest parts, more to the middle over 12 feet deep I think.  Trout are everywhere, but more consistent near shore.  There is also a few small wallys and LMbass.  It is a kids pond so we put everything back.  Don't have to, its just a karma thing.  Just wish they'd let us stay into the dark, say 8pm, just to let us working stiffs get a little time in.
