im on ice!

No bites so far. 3 1/2 to 4 inches of good ice. Some spots on the pond arent safe but this section is!

Can you give me your GPS coordinates, thickness of the ice, name of your rod manufacturer, jig size, jig color, temperature of the water, boot size and Christmas list please? 

Just thought I'd ask before everybody else does!!!!

Rod is riversyder,jig is j&s, temp is cold, boot size 12 and i want new auger blades please lol!

No fish today but felt good to be back on ice. Drilled three holes and man my blades need to be sharpened. Any tips or tricks?

Be careful on Soday Bay. I do not think any of the bait shops around Sodus  recommend being out there as of yet.

Sodus hasnt even crossed my mind yet. My vote is sodus will be ready after the first of the year. For now im sticking to ponds and maybe even the fairhaven pond.

hey teebug,you can put shims on each blade and you wont have to buy blades for a while...just loosen you blades and slide a small shim(either copper or aluminum)behind the blade along the sharp edge.make sure none of the shim is exposed..this will change the angle slightly and fix your prob for now...hope this helps
