If you look on the vt fish and game web site under fishing there is a lakes and ponds depth charts section. Most of the states smaller bodys of water are on there. They have been very helpful to me. As for the bait say hi to Joe at country boys bait. Good luck on Fairlee trout fishing is slow for me there but maybe you will find the lucky spot. Post some pics of your catch Good luck!
Come on get on the ice fish!!

I'm pretty sure there is walleye in lake twirled and lake morey, even though the state does not recognize the. I work with a guy that worked with the biologists for the state of vt and one time when they were out there shocking the fish they pulled some walleye up. I've also heard of an illegal dumping of caught walleye several years ago in those lakes.

thanks guys, i have been working the VT fish and game page pretty hard the psaat yr and it is a little different than the NH fish and game page but like you said they do not recognized walleye being in there. that is what i really wanted to try and target but if there isnt a fishable population i didnt want to waste my time when i can drive another hour and have a fishable population on some of your other waters. i love fishing VT the views and fishing is awesome and i get to target species i love to catch and dont get a chance as opften in NH.
