recently i bought a old model 30 off a guy for 50 dollars. put a new carb kit in and recoil cord and it runs great. but upon putting it back together i can`t seem to figure out how this large spring for the throttle linkage goes on? any one go pictures of it or could tell me how this spring is supposed to go and work?

you can find the schematics for it on jiffys web site,is it a long skinney spring with an inch or so on each end where it hooks on?

Its not the throttle spring itself. I believe its the tension spring to make the throttle rod come back when you let go. Ive tried all possible spots on the auger and can't get it to work.

I think I remember a spring on mine that went to a little flapper like thing on the flywheel,I dont know how to post a link to a website but just look on jiffys website and you will find the diagram your looking for there for sure
