Can be a pain if you don't have the right stones/files. If you've never done them before might be best to take them to a professional.  They'll have them razor sharp for about 10 bucks.

You never know unless you try I have had very good luck doing my own usually I can just use a diamond stone but if I get in the sand bad I put them on a belt sander then the stone just don't change the angle

I have had real good luck with a diamond stone, but always have an extra pair of new blades.

I'm glad somebody has luck sharpening their own.  I've quit trying to get the right angle and besides the blade shop only charges $6 for a perfect job.

I could sharpen my Mora blades real nice with a 600 grit stone by following the contour of the blade.

Who sharpens Jiffy blades near Missoula?  Tried sharpening mine last year with so-so results.

X2 for professional. Def worth it. Sometimes they are better then factory sharpened.
