Fish Hole Buddy Glow sleeves do they need trimmed?
« on: Nov 27, 2016, 12:40 AM »
With an ice castle, are the sleeves the correct height where you just drop them in and your good? Or is this something where a guy needs to go lower his shack down and measure the distance from the ground to hole top and then trim the sleeves to size so the fit snug to the ground.

If a person does need to trim. Anyone who has done it have any tips to get a good snug fit.

saying the 9 in are most popular and has trim lines.. I would think a jigsaw and patience will do the job.

I lowered mine onto the blocks I use on the ice while in the driveway, measured from floor to concrete and cut them to that length. I marked the sleeves and cut them with my sawzall. Worked well for me.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.
