hi guys I am pretty new to the whole dead bait deal for pike and would like to try it. can you give me some pointers on how to use it or where to buy it?

I use minnow traps that I widened the entry holes in them to catch larger suckers than what the standard hole would allow. Dog food or a bagel does'nt dissolve as quick as white bread.
I use a wire quick strike rig with # 6 treble hooks and set the bait horizontal.

 Use trebles for dead bait. You can buy live bait and then leave it on the ice for a few minutes.

slice the air blader it will help it sink and get the juices flowing that will attrack them hopefully
