I apologize for not getting to this before the season was almost up, but in putting my gear away, I was reminded that I have a sled that I dont use anymore.
Free to the first current I.S. member (registered pre-3/17) who can come pick it up in Merrimack, and give me their word that its for their use, not to turn around and sell...
Its designed to hold a bait bucket, and then a large tote (not incl)
The tip/up - jigging pole box is deep enough to hold about a dozen tip-ups plus a few jiggers
I had issues with a leaky gas cap on my Jiffy so the sled has a cradle that will keep an auger powerhead upright
Nice wide skis are stable, and a nice heavy tow rope
Its designed to be light and I added a handle so with that and the "crossbeam" its easily picked up to put in a truck.
If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and we'll make arrangements for you to pick it up. This sled served me well for many years, and Id love for a fellow IS member to get some use out of it. Because of my recurring back issues Ive just moved to a Jet Sled to move my gear around. Although this sled isnt heavy, a Jet Sled is lighter.
