Husqvarna/Normark Auger
« on: Mar 07, 2013, 02:50 PM »
Hey Everyone,

Not sure if this is the right spot or not but just an FYI for everyone.  Wholesale Sports has a really good deal on Husqvarna augers in either 8 or 10 inch.

$680+tax, they are usually around 800-900.

I picked one up with a 10" and its awesome.

How does it handle the 10" flighting?  I've been thinking about picking up a 10" for mine.
And ya its by far one of the best augers I've ever used!

Are those TRUE Husqvarna augers though? Or a cheaper knock-off version? I feel like a real Husqvarna would be better than this one.

I was worried about using the 10" but now im more worried that I will never use my 8" again, it works awesome.. maybe 5-10% slower cutting but still impressive for a 10" and it pulls down really well.

gobig - Theses are the same augers, just relabelled.

Ya, i went to the Husky dealer and looked at the one they had there.  From what I could see they literally just change the husqvarna sticker for a normark sticker on top of the power head.  Manual states all warranty goes straight to Husqvarna for work as well.

I bought one a couple years ago when Wholesale was selling them off at the end of the year.  Solid and reliable.  2 pulls pretty much everytime  Even on old crapty gas!

They make them now, 10" fixed extensions. Not cheap though, $70.
