VSHTS MOVED TO MALLETTS BAY
« on: Feb 28, 2013, 07:47 PM »
Unbelievable that I'm writing this but safety must always come first!!! due to unsafe ice we will be moving the VSHTS Championship to Mallet's Bay (Still driving trucks on) The fish have been biting well there all week with some heavy pan fish being caught. We apologize for any inconvenience but we want to keep you all safe. unfortunately the kids clinic will be canceled. Hope to see you all Saturday!!!

FYI.... the launch at Larrabees is shot. the holes are opening back up from the 3 trucks that when though a couple weeks ago. and a 4 wheeler went in today!!!

Better to be safe then sorry
i will try to make it up there , but if i don't i want you to know that i plan on doing these tournaments more serious next year and maybe taking the Friday off from work to do some pre fishing .
I would also like to say that you put on a Awesome tournament and thanks for doing so much for the community and the state by getting people involved with Ice Fishing.
I do all types of fishing; but I am Die hard Ice angler.
I love Ice Fishing the lakes of Rutland County. Recently moved to NY and now will be Ice fishing the Lakes Of New York.

Couple vehicles through Malletts Bay tonight. Some soft spots from the sun these past couple days. Ice is still thick though. Just an FYI. I started a thread about it before seeing this...
